Vertu announces £3m Bolton FordStore investment

Auto retailer Vertu Motors has announced it will invest £3 million in its Bristol Street Motors Ford Bolton facility, as part of a plan to transform the business into a premium FordStore showroom. One of a select number of outlets nationwide granted FordStore status, it will become the only one in the region to sell Ford’s premium Vignale-branded models and the newly launched Mustang performance car range alongside the rest of the Blue Oval’s models.

Work will include the demolition of the existing Higher Bridge site, with the finished facility boasting a dedicated Vignale customer lounge, a new light commercial showroom, an expanded workshop facility and the relocation of the retailer’s Approved Used department. Ahead of its summer 2017 opening construction will focus on the use of energy efficient materials as part of plans to reduce the facility’s environmental impact.
