Derbyshire-based auto retailer Gordon Lamb Group has been bought by Vertu Motors. The £18.7 million deal allows Vertu to expand its reach in the North of England, while the group has added Skoda, Nissan, Toyota and Land Rover franchises to it expanding portfolio. The transaction also included £8.3 million of goodwill and freehold properties valued at £7.5 million.

Following the purchase of the Gordon Lamb Group, a retailer of more than 60 years, Vertu has acquired its first Toyota franchise, while the deal also brings its number of Nissan outlets to 11.
