Stan Palmer Opens Suzuki Franchise in Carlisle

Suzuki GB has appointed family owned, franchised dealer group, Stan Palmer to represent the brand in Carlisle.

The dealership features a refurbished, six-car showroom, 70 approved used vehicles and an eight-bay workshop.  It will serve motorists in a catchment area taking in Carlisle and the surrounding towns of Penrith, Wigton and Brampton.

Dealer principal Neil Palmer said: ‘After positive discussions with Suzuki, we were impressed with the brand’s straightforward approach to business. This makes them an ideal partner to complement the franchises that our company already manages.

‘With consumers increasingly turning to hybrids and cars with low emissions, Suzuki’s model range meets the needs and demographics of local drivers. We’ve received a high number of inquiries from motorists, so it’s been an encouraging start.’

The franchise was previously held by Border Cars, which went into administration last year.
