Sinclair Group receives top Mercedes award

South Wales-based Sinclair Group has been named by Mercedes-Benz as its Retailer of the Year at a recent awards ceremony in London. The auto retailer, which has sites at Cardiff, Bridgend, Swansea and Neyland, was recognised for the tireless efforts of its management team and an all-embracing approach that ensures every area of the business receives the same highly focused attention and clear direction.

Commenting on the award, Gary Savage, CEO Mercedes-Benz UK, said: “Sinclair Group has had an outstanding year. We tried to think of the one thing that Sinclair Group does that others don’t, but it’s not one thing, it’s everything.”

Also recognised at the awards ceremony was auto retailer Sytner West, which received the Retailer of the Year accolade for its success in operating Mercedes’ city car Smart brand. Other winners on the night were Drayton Group, which was named Service and Parts Team of the Year; Pendragon Leeds, which took the prize for AMG Team of the Year; and Sytner North East, which took Customer Service Team of the Year.
