Rybrook Automotive Ltd, which calls itself one of the largest privately-owned retailer groups in the UK, has posted an £11.8m profit before tax for the year ended December 2021. This figure represents an increase from £1.4m in 2020. Turnover grew from £660m to £802m.

In October last year Rybrook returned to the full ownership of the Whale family. The family bought out the investors which helped the Midlands-based group return to private ownership in 2003. Rybrook Group Ltd, formerly Shelfco 2021 Ltd, became the company’s new ultimate parent company.

Rybrook Holdings Ltd was renamed Rybrook Automotive Ltd in April 2022.
