Retailers celebrate quarter century milestone

Two Mitsubishi retailers have received awards in recognition of their long service to the brand. Riverside Eastern in Scarborough and Hull Mitsubishi in Hessle, have been honoured for reaching the 25-year landmark as Mitsubishi auto retailers.

Hull Mitsubishi opened for trading in New Cleveland Street in May 1991 and moved to its current premises in 1997. Dealer principal Jim Clutterbrook, who launched the business, said: “The main ethos of the dealership is to look after our staff and customers, who are always treated with professionalism and courtesy, and that has served us well. We have a great team, and while it is fantastic to reach this landmark we are already looking forward to the exciting times ahead with Mitsubishi.”

Commenting on its long service award, Bryan Kendall, dealer principal of Riverside Eastern’s Seamer-based operation said: “We are proud of our long-standing relationship with Mitsubishi, so it is an honour to receive this award. The partnership between our dealership and Mitsubishi is one that works so well because we both believe in providing excellent service to our customers. This is an exciting time to be with Mitsubishi and we’re looking forward to the years ahead.”
