Peter Cooper Motor Group to represent Omoda and Jaecoo

Peter Cooper Motor Group, the Southampton-based dealer, will take on Omoda at its Shirley Road site which hosts VW.

The dealer previously held an exclusive Ride & Drive event from 29 May to 3 June, ahead of the official launch of the site.

The 5 SUV, which is available with petrol or electric powertrains, is Omoda’s first model to go on sale in the UK. The electric Omoda 5 is expected to have a recharging capacity of 110kW and a range of 280 miles. Pricing for the petrol-powered Omoda 5 starts at £24,000.

The Jaecoo 7, considered to be a more premium offering, will launch as a plug-in hybrid.
