Pentagon Motor Group has recently announced it will buy three Ford franchised dealerships from TrustFord.  The sites are in Warrington, St Helens and Runcorn.  All were previously Polar Ford sites before being moved into TrustFord retail group. The three dealerships will be rebranded as Pentagon Ford.

Pentagon operates 38 franchise outlets from 23 sites across the East Midlands, north-west of England, Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire.  The groups Managing Director, David Lewis said, ‘We are very pleased to be adding Ford to the Pentagon group, and working together with TrustFord this promises to be a smooth transition.’

He is keen for all the staff at the three sites to transfer to Pentagon Ford and says it will be business as usual for customers.

The formal completion of the deal, for an undisclosed sum, is expected to take place on December 31.

Rob Truscott, chief executive of Motus Holdings UK (Pentagons parent company), said: ‘As a group, we are committed to growth. Not growth at any cost, but where we see a real opportunity at sensible investment levels, and the acquisition of these three important Ford sites delivers on this for us.
