Panda Motors scores MG deal

Panda Motors, a Swansea-based auto retailer, has become the latest to partner with MG Motors. Until now a sole-franchise retailer and used car specialist, the family-owned business was started in 1986 by Robert Jones after his time as Swansea City Football Club chairman. The announcement coincides with the company’s 30th anniversary.

Commenting on the deal, Anthony Jones, Robert’s son and head of the company’s sales department, said: “We were extremely taken with the overall value of the brand and the quality of the vehicles. It’s great to represent a car manufacturer that is so well known and has such a strong backing – that really bodes well for the future.”
