New Renault UK management appointments
Renault UK has announced the appointment of its new managing director. Paul Flanagan joins the French car maker from Ford, where he held a variety of senior finance, sales and marketing roles in a 25-plus year career that also included the post of MD, Ford Belgium and President, Ford France.
Flanagan will be responsible for the UK, Ireland, Cyprus and Malta and will report to his predecessor, Ken Ramirez, who was recently appointed senior vice-president, sales and marketing for Europe.
In related news, Nick Tame has been promoted to sales director succeeding Darren Payne, who moves to the newly-formed position of sales director at Nissan Motor GB, bringing together network and corporate sales functions.
Tame has worked for Renault UK for 22 years in various roles ranging from area manager, regional director, national fleet sales manager, franchising and dealer development manager and, most recently, sales operations manager.
