MG Motor UK has added five new partners to its franchise dealer network. This is part of their drive towards its goal of establishing a full national network of 120 sites by 2020.
The latest additions to the network are Crayford & Abbs in north Norfolk, Thomas & Davies in Merthyr Tydfil, McMillan Motors in Greenock, Jermyn & Sons in Seaford, East Sussex and FG Barnes in Canterbury. All five sites joined the manufacturer’s rapidly-growing network in July, taking their dealership network up to 81 sites.
MG intends to expand its dealer network to 120 sites by 2020 as part of its growth plans in the UK. There will also be new model launches later this year with the MG3 going on sale in September.
The volume growth strategy is already showing results in 2018. MG continues to be the UK’s fastest growing car manufacturer with first half sales increasing by a staggering 115%. They have also announced the opening of a prestigious new 250m2 sales and marketing showroom in Marylebone, London.
Daniel Gregorious, Head of Sales & Marketing at MG Motor UK, commented: “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome five new dealerships to the MG network. Each brings their own unique strengths. However they all share a common interest in selling plenty of cars and putting the customer at the heart of everything they do. I’m certain that our new dealers will successfully introduce our value-for-money cars, long warranties and great finance offers to their local communities
