Marshall Motor Group has acquired supercar dealership, Aston Martin Sevenoaks, from Lithia Motors.

Marshall, part of Constellation Automotive Group, also owns Cinch, BCA and WeBuyAnyCar, and 25 staff have been transferred. This is the AM100 group’s only luxury car franchised dealership.

A previous partnership with Maserati ten years ago was unsuccessful after the Italian luxury car brand failed to live up to its sales volume ambitions.

Marshall now operates 143 franchised dealerships representing 24 manufacturer car, van, truck and motorcycle brands across 34 counties in England.

Marshall chief executive, Martin Casha, said, “We are delighted to begin a new and significant partnership with Aston Martin.”

“This iconic British brand has been a target for the group for some time and the acquisition of Aston Martin Sevenoaks, in Kent, realises the group’s entry into the ultra-luxury sports car market.”

Casha believes that Aston Martin is a great fit for Marshall and the dealership is well placed to serve customers from across Kent and the south east of England.

It is a region Marshall knows well, as under its previous chief executive Daksh Gupta in 2021 it acquired Motorline, a fellow AM100 dealer group with a strong presence in the country.

“I would like to thank the team at Aston Martin Lagonda and very much look forward to working with them over the coming years to develop a mutually successful partnership. I would also like to welcome all of our new colleagues to Marshall and look forward to seeing them grow and develop the business further,’ said Casha.

Oliver Turner, regional president of Aston Martin in the UK & South Africa, welcomed Marshall’s investment and said the “significant investment plan” represents the positive trajectory of the Aston Martin brand and shows strong confidence in its supercar range.
