Lookers Acquires Jennings Motor Group
Lookers will make a further investment in its dealership network by purchasing Jennings Motor Group.
Jennings, the North East based franchised dealer group, is a respected and well-established name across the region. Whilst Ford is their key brand partner, they also represent Kia, Seat and Mazda.
The acquisition reinforces Lookers’ position as one of the largest motor retailers in the UK. It strengthens their position in the region, following the purchase of Benfield with 30 locations almost 3 years ago, and displays their confidence in the UK automotive market.

Lookers aims to be a major consolidator in what remains a highly fragmented market. The acquisition of Jennings represents an important development for the group, whilst continuing to concentrate on operational excellence and growth.
