Lings Mitsubishi boasts of a business upturn
Lings Mitsubishi has announced a significant upturn in business since the recent arrival of a new dealer principal and support team. Lings took over the the Lowestoft-based auto retailer 20 months ago, and recruited Daniel Lake as its new dealer principal in February. The retailer has already sold more cars than it did in the whole of 2015.
Lake, who recruited two new trainee sales executives and a new service manager, has 12 years’ experience in the motor trade. Commenting on the retailer’s success, Lake said: “I’m really excited to have joined Lings. It’s fantastic to be part of this long-running family business and I’m delighted to be working with Mitsubishi at such an exciting time for the brand, which is really carving out a niche of reliable 4×4 vehicles with clever hybrid technology. In the first two quarters of the year we have exceeded our sales target so we are going in the right direction.”
Lings Mitsubishi sits on a five-acre site and has recently benefited from a major refurbishment programme. The family owned business employs 95 people across five sites, with franchises in Lowestoft, Watton and Harleston plus two in Ipswich.
