Auto retailer Jardine Motors Group has launched a new careers initiative to discover the next superstars of customer service. The move is part of the company’s desire to change perceptions of the motor industry and attract a new breed of employee.
The exclusive 12-month programme, The Jardine Academy, will help progress new colleagues towards a career within Jardine Motors Group retail environments. The programme is now open for applicants with 20 positions available. Successful participants will start in January 2017 within the group’s seven Volkswagen retailers.
According to the retailer, the programme will provide industry-leading training and coaching within sales and aftersales. Trainees will be required to complete modules during the 12 months which will be delivered via a mix of formal training, informal learning, coaching workshops, e-learning, observation and on-the-job experience.
