Jardine Motors has completed a deal to acquire Collier Motor Group. The purchase, for an undisclosed sum, includes the auto retailer’s Erdington-based Land Rover, Mazda and Honda sites plus a Jaguar site in Tamworth and a central parts hub. Crucially, the deal sees Jardine boost its Land Rover and Jaguar portfolio to five and six sites respectively as part of the retailer’s “drive for a common ownership model”.

Family-owned Colliers was founded 90 years ago and is run by chief executive Dave Clark. Jardine Motors was founded in 1969 by Nicholas and Ronald Lancaster, and focused primarily on premium brands such as Porsche and Mercedes-Benz. It’s since grown to represent 23 brands operating at over 70 UK locations.
