Flagship Hyundai retailer for Glasgow

Arnold Clark has opened a new Hyundai retail facility in Glasgow. The £4 million development overlooks the M8 and is located on Alexandra Parade. Built to display 20 new vehicles and accommodate 150 used cars, this 857 sqm facility is the UK’s largest Hyundai retail development and is manned by over 50 staff.

The showroom has been designed to display Hyundai’s range over three levels, while the building also boasts seven workshop bays including a dedicated MOT bay plus a specialist wheel alignment bay. Hyundai’s new CI features a warm bronze exterior and a strong natural light flow through the interior.

This new facility is the product of the success of two separate Hyundai retail businesses in Glasgow. Arnold Clark’s first site opened in 2002, followed by a second location in the city in 2012. As sales grew to 1,100 by 2015, the company decided to consolidate its operations – the result being this flagship showroom.
